Chicago Northwest KOA

Using the name "Chicago" in the name because you are "close" is like saying ice cream and soup are "close" because they are both in bowls. This KOA is 60 miles West of Chicago (hour and a half drive) and is in the middle of nowhere, but just so happened to be very close to where we were going to be.

Rating:

5 beers out of a six-pack in the cooler. Close to some good family fun in Volo and Donely's Wild West Town. Clean site and helpful staff make you feel right at home.

Nice and quiet. Next to Donley's Wild West Town (fun for the little buckaroos) and we stayed here on a trip to Volo Auto Museum (See blog post). Not a bad place with good neighbors and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
