A Christmas Story House

3159 W. 11th St., Cleveland, OH 44109 - YES, this is a real place!

Christmas comes slower than a sloth covered in molasses on a cold winters day, but this house lets you feel Christmas joy any time of the year! For anyone who enjoyed this movie, this house is a must see (unless you got an air rifle for Christmas and put your eye out).

A Christmas Story House and the next-door neighbors The Bumpus house, yes these are real houses in a real neighborhood, have been restored to their movie splendor and are open year round to the public for tours and overnight stays. Directly across the street from the house is A Christmas Story Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos.

Tour

Tours run every hour starting at 10:15 am. The last guided tour is an hour before closing. Tour Tickets must be purchased prior to the last tour from the gift shop. There are so many surprises in the house you may want to experience it twice.

Gift Shop and Museum

Across the street from the house is the gift shop and museum. The Museum has many of the original props, costumes, toys, photos, life-casts, and script pages. Simply an amazing collection. Randy’s snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields’ classroom, and the family car. Casual fans to die hard fans will relive A Christmas Story at Ralphie’s house.

The gift shop is extensive and you could own a Major Award Leg Lamp! They have leg lamps, ornaments, Decoder Rings, t-shirts and much more movie related items!

Tips:

• There is NO RV parking. This house is in an old neighborhood. The streets are very narrow and there is nowhere nearby to park your RV.

• Get your tickets early in the day, there are always people waiting for the tours and they sell out quickly.
